Rory Hawker, MD

Accepting New Patients

Dr. Rory Hawker is a family medicine physician and a longtime resident of the Star/Middleton area. He is excited to be serving the area where he was raised! He has experience managing complex chronic conditions as well as acute illnesses. Dr. Hawker has a special interest in caring for children. He recognizes the importance of implementing healthy habits and the role good mental health plays into the success and happiness of his patients.

"I completed a master's degree in Child and Adolescent development during medical school and know how imperative a good balance of mental and physical health is in our children. I am a father of five and love working with young patients and caring for many of the developmental and mental illnesses they face.

I focused a great amount of my elective and free time during residency, learning and managing skin conditions, cancers and performing outpatient skin procedures. I feel very confident assessing, diagnosing and treating abnormal skin diseases and have developed many close relationships with specialists locally, to whom I can reach out to or refer.

I commit to patient-centered care and help the patient to be educated and make the best decision for themselves. I am passionate about teaching and know that a well informed patient will ultimately make the best choices that lead to greater health. I look forward to establishing my career here in Star, Idaho for the many years to come."
